Metalcore band Hope Through Grace released their single “Opinions Will Be The Death Of You” on the 15th December last year. Check it out on our xRhythms playlist.

The London and Bristol based group dropped their debut single which talks about forming your own opinion and not relying so heavily on what other people think of them “Instead of worrying about others opinion/ Why not make your own”.

The track also discusses a feeling of not belonging to the world.

The track also discusses a feeling of not belonging to the world at large due to not having a clear identity “Denied his sleep, with thoughts of Who am I/ And what do I want in a World that Doesn't want me…”, which resolves with the main thought of “Try making your own opinions”.

This combined with the heavily distorted guitars and pounding drums make this a metalcore anthem of self-respect and individuality.

Since then, Hope Through Grace have released another single called “Mountains” exploring inner strength and perseverance, also releasing a music video with it last week.

When they aren’t making music, the band makes other content for their YouTube channel and social media, including reaction videos and a behind the scenes vlog from filming their video for “Mountains”. They have also teamed up with the alternative clothing brand Southwest Hardcore.
