As any churchgoer will tell you, two of the major sources for good Christian songs, which are slowly replacing the traditional hymns that are sung from dusty hymnbooks, are Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia, and Bethel Church in Redding, USA.

Now a third source of such songs has been discovered in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, at Elevation Church.

Their Elevation band of singers, songwriters, and musicians, have toured with Hillsong Music and Bethel Worship. And now, they are well on the way to establishing an offshoot called Elevation Rhythm.

Geared towards young people who like upbeat songs.

Their music is specially geared towards young people who like upbeat songs, and they launched last year in July with two singles: ‘Everything Everything’ and ‘Never Walk Away’.

Now with the release of their new single ‘Better With You’, Elevation Rhythm is beginning to connect with xRhythms listeners. Their upbeat vibe shows that Elevation Rhythm live up to their name.

The song acts as a conversation from us to God, letting Him know that our lives are so much better with Him.

When things feel incomplete and broken, God can flip our perspective.

Davide Mutendji, one of the writers and leaders for Elvation Rhythms says, “The idea that really stands out to me in this song is that when things feel incomplete and broken, God can flip our perspective.”

“One of my favorite lines says, ‘You make falling feel like flying, I’m tripping into You,’” adds Mutendji. “It’s this idea that our mistakes and mess-ups can end up bringing us closer to God if we look at them with a new attitude.”

Although you can still find pockets of older Christians who insist that club-styled music has no place in the Church today, young people like Tiffany and her all-singing, all-dancing crew, are demonstrating that God has no problem with good dance music.
