North Carolina-based hip-hop and rap artist Byron Juane has enjoyed lots of airtime on xRhythms with songs like ‘Lonely’ and ‘M.I.A’.
The multitalented 21-year-old artist plays the drums, guitar, trumpet, and keys. He is also schooled in hip-hop, R&B, jazz, and classical music.
He often sings about relationships and heartache.
The self-proclaimed nice guy’s songs seem to all have one theme in common: Love. He often sings about relationships and heartache, and now, being afraid to fall in love.
In May, Juane released a new single “Afraid” featuring Danielle Apicella, for which they filmed a special ‘quarantine edition’ music video.
“Afraid” talks about how heartache can be a harsh result of love. It can lead to trust issues, hurt, and painful memories. The song highlights the fear of self-inflicted mistakes deriving from past relationships.
Juane is using his time in lockdown to work on new music.
As if releasing single after single was not enough, Juane is using his time in lockdown to work on new music. He recently signed a new deal with the record label Reflection Music Group under who he will be releasing this new music.
In a recent Instagram post, he announced that his new music would be completely different: unapologetically honest, and entirely true to himself and his experiences.
