Apollo LTD speak about their influences

If you’ve caught Apollo LTD’s xRhythms electro pop radio hit 'Misfits' you’ll know it’s got a mesmerising hook and a lyric that the duo’s producer Adam Stark is keen to talk about. 

Centricity Music reported “It’s a song about feeling like you don’t fit in, but realising that actually might be ok. It’s more about realising where you belong in the world, rather than if you belong. Embracing our differences is what makes this life beautiful.”

Apollo LTD consists of Adam and singer Jordan Phillips.

I have always been enamoured by space.

Jordan explained to music.allaccess.com where their name came from. "I have always been enamoured by space (it's made its way into a lot of our material over the years. . . even in different bands). Throw in some legal advice to add some letters or other words to 'Apollo' and you have Apollo LTD!" 

They both play, produce and write lyrics, melodies and hooks.

Speaking about their influences Jordan said, "There is truly nothing we do that isn't influenced by the other. We both play, produce and write lyrics, melodies, and hooks. Adam is an exceptional musician whose experience includes working as a session and touring lead guitar player. For me, music is guttural. As we've been able to develop the live narrative, we've been able to develop what the common thread is through all of our music and let this thread influence our songwriting."

Now their debut full-length album ‘Out Of Body’ has been released, after a stream of singles and EPs. It includes another hit song 'Heaven'. Things are looking really good for the Nashville-based twosome.
