If you're like me, then you've probably thought about how you can be a little bit more organised with things.
I've put together a list of five things that help me feel like I'm in control. I hope they will help you too.
Plan your week
Having a plan for your week, or each day, can really boost your organisation. When you know what you're doing when, it helps you stay in control of what needs to be done.
Using lists or a weekly calendar/planner means that you can get the most out of each day. Ticking each task or to-do off the list is really motivating.
Create a routine
Create a routine for what you do most often. Having a routine streamlines daily processes and cuts down wasted time. This allows for more productivity in the day, instead of wondering what to do, or not doing anything at all.
Don’t keep your routine too regimented or strict though. Allow room for spontaneity.
Cut down on waste
Cut down on buying things you won’t end up using, wearing, or wanting.
This reduces waste, saves you money, and helps you understand who you are and what you like.
Tidy your house
Not only can tidying your home be therapeutic and fun if you play some music and have a jam, but it can help to increase your mood and take your mind off of anxiety-provoking things.
Keeping your space neat and tidy leads to more organisation, and also, a more happy and productive day.
Tidy space = tidy mind.
Believe you can be a more put-together person, and you will be.
Fake it till you make it, and eventually, it will become a habit.
