Christmas is coming and while it may look a bit different from usual this year, I feel like celebrating and blessing those we love is especially important after the crazy ride that 2020 has taken all of us on.

This year has been tough for every business out there, and I’ve been more aware than ever of the individuals who are running or have set up their own small businesses. Especially those in my local area.

With this in mind, my Christmas shopping has looked pretty different than in previous years. I’ve been searching for gifts that would not only be great for my family but also support small business owners.

Etsy and Instagram have been the best places for me to find the most special gifts.

The gifts I bought were quick to arrive and came in beautiful packaging. Most of them are also eco-friendly, which is an added bonus.

With more time on my hands in the second lockdown, I’ve found myself getting creative and making my own presents.

Taking the time to create something unique and personal for my family and friends has been great, I’ve found a lot of joy in crafting new things. 

So far, I’ve made everything from fudge to wall hangings, and I’ve spent a lot of time on Pinterest getting more inspiration.
