Hot Chocolate Station
Take a jug of hot milk, hot chocolate and start decorating. Whipped cream, marshmallows, sweets and strawberries would be a staple, but why not grab some Christmas themed sweets and red and green sprinkles for a seasonal look?
Shout ‘Santa’
All you need for this a Christmas film night, but pop a Santa hat on a top corner of the screen. If it looks like a film character is wearing it, the first person to shout ‘Santa!’ wins a treat or a small gift.
Creative Christmas Chaos
Christmas is a wonderful time to show thought and love, so a homemade present is ideal. Take a craft shop trip and gather things to create your own Christmas wreaths, make Christmas cards and presents or decorations for your tree.
Guess what’s in the Stocking
This is such an easy Christmas game, but so much fun! Find a stocking for each of your friends (or a sock works too) and put an object from your house into it. Whoever makes a correct guess wins a treat or small gift.
Who are you supposed to be?
Organise a fancy dress party and request that everyone come as a Christmas character, this could be from a song, a film or a book. Take a guess who everyone is and if you can’t guess, make them explain it with charades.
Candy Cane Relay
All you need for this one is two big bowls of candy canes! In two teams, take it in turns to hold a candy cane in your mouth with the hook side out, then try and hook as many other canes as you can. The first one to hook them all wins!
Pound Presents
Christmas can be an expensive time, so instead of splashing that cash why not suggest a pound present swap with your friends. Buy the perfect gift for just a pound, this can be something funny or a thoughtful gesture, and make time to see each other and swap them.
Name that Christmas tune
Play a small part of a Christmas song for your gang and ask them to write down the answers. If you feel like making it trickier, you can whistle the tune for them instead.
Gingerbread House Decorating
You can make the whole thing from scratch or buy a set and create the Gingerbread House of your dreams. Mix it up by creating the house from your favourite film or making it themed.
Christmas Scavenger Hunt
Hide Christmas treats or small gifts all around your house or ask someone to hide them for you and leave some buckets out for everyone to go Scavenging. To make it extra tricky add treasure hunt clues to find the prizes!
Merry Christmas everyone!
